Ponderings on Proper Prayer
Bill Welzien
If there is a proper way to fly, drive, run, swim, hit a ball, write etc. then why should we think there isn’t a proper way to approach God in prayer? There has been controversy in the news recently about prayer in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino CA. In today’s sermon we look into the privilege of praying to God as Father, whether or not there is a proper position for prayer, and the relationship between doctrine and prayer.
Three point Sermon:
I. The Privilege of Praying to God as Father!
II. The Proper Position in Prayer.
III. Proper Doctrine and Proper Prayer Must Be Paired!
